Frequently Asked Questions
Should I leave my air conditioner on all the time?
Yes – inverter air conditioners are designed to be “turned on” all the time.
A good example would be to compare it to your refrigerator. Your refrigerator is not designed to cool food for short bursts of time — it works all the time, keeping a steady temperature.
Your air conditioner works similarly.
Would not it waste a lot of energy to leave my air conditioner on all the time?
Inverter air conditioners are more advanced than non-inverter air conditioners, and actually spend less energy than conventional systems.
This might seem paradoxical, but the fact that your air conditioner is “turned on” does not mean that it is always “working”. Your system brings the room to the desired temperature and only uses energy when the temperature changes.
In other words, keeping your system on continuously spends less energy than turning it on for shorter periods of time.
Should I really never turn off my air conditioner?
You can turn off your air conditioner when you are certain that it will not be used for extended periods of time.
In general day to day use, your air conditioner will perform better when it is always turned on.
You can also schedule your air conditioner to operate between a specified period of time.
Can I schedule my air conditioner to work only on certain days of the week?
